Do you want to share files with nearby Apple devices? AirDrop is the easiest way to do it.
AirDrop is a built-in feature on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that shares content with other nearby Apple devices.
To turn on AirDrop, open Control Center and tap AirDrop. Choose to make yourself discoverable to Everyone, Contacts Only, or turn off AirDrop.
To send something, open the app that contains the item you want to share, like your Photos app. Tap the item you want to share, then tap the Share button. Tap the recipient’s image or name, then tap the AirDrop button.
Your recipient will get a notification that you are sending them something. They can then accept or decline the transfer.
If you’re the recipient and you accept the transfer, the item will appear in the app you chose.
