Meme coins centered on political figures have experienced a notable spike in demand in the run-up to the 2024 US Elections.

That’s because large-cap tokens are well-suited to whale investors thanks to their deeper liquidity. They’re also an easy choice for those new to the space who want exposure without having to dig too deep.

Put differently, TRUMP is a magnet for new capital entering the PolitiFi narrative.

However, MAGA (TRUMP) is tackling real social issues, which could foster a long-term community.

The project’s website leads with: “We’ve raised more funds for U.S. Veterans and Child Trafficking Prevention than any other cryptocurrency on the market.”

Notably, this also aligns with Ethereum Co-Founder Vitalik Buterin’s idealistic vision of meme coins, which he mentioned in a blog post in March titled “What else could meme coins be?”
