The current price of Bitcoin is around $54,000 USD per BTC. This is up from its recent low of around $30,000 USD in late February.
Now let’s take a quick look at some of the top altcoins. Ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of around $250 billion. Ripple is the third largest with a market capitalization of around $90 billion. And Litecoin is the fourth largest with a market capitalization of around $60 billion.
Finally, let’s look at the overall state of the cryptocurrency market. The market has been on an absolute tear since the beginning of 2021 with Bitcoin and most altcoins posting huge gains. This is due to increased institutional interest, increased media attention, and increased adoption of cryptocurrencies for payments and other financial services.
