WHAT IS HAPPENING W/ BITCOIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCY?? (I’M NERVOUS)

Hey everyone it’s Crypto Casey here,

and today I’m talking about what’s happening with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

So, let me preface this by saying that I’m a little nervous.

We’ve seen a lot of volatility in the crypto markets lately.

Bitcoin, for example, is down about 15% in the last week alone.

We’ve also seen a lot of altcoins, or alternative cryptocurrencies,

drop by even more.

So, what’s going on?

Well, one of the biggest factors driving this price drop is the news that

the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is cracking down on

ICOs, or Initial Coin Offerings.

The SEC has been cracking down on ICOs because they’re concerned

about fraud and manipulation in the market.

They’re also concerned that some ICOs could be selling unregistered securities.

So, the SEC is going after some of these ICOs and this is causing

some investors to become nervous and sell off their crypto holdings.

That, in turn, is causing the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos to drop.

So, what does this mean for the future?

Well, I think it’s important to keep in mind that this is a short-term

volatility in the market and I believe that the long-term trend is still

upwards.

Cryptocurrency is still a very young and exciting market and I think

we’ll continue to see a lot of growth and innovation in the years ahead.

So, don’t be too discouraged by the current price drop.

It’s just a part of the natural volatility of the market.
