Cryptopia, the world’s first fully decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, is on its last legs. After hitting a peak in trading volume and user numbers in 2018, the exchange has steadily declined in popularity and is now in danger of shutting down.
In an effort to save the exchange, its founders have launched Fidelity, a new Bitcoin gateway. The gateway will allow users to deposit and withdraw Bitcoin from their Cryptopia accounts, as well as trade in the cryptocurrency. The new gateway will also provide users with access to a range of trading tools and services, including margin trading, stop-loss orders, and the ability to leverage their positions.
While the new gateway is a welcome addition to the Cryptopia platform, it may not be enough to save the struggling exchange. With the cryptocurrency market in a state of flux, only time will tell if Cryptopia can stay afloat.
