Hey everyone, this is Crypto Casey and today I bought my very first Bitcoin miner, the Antminer S9 SE. In this video, I’m going to show you what I bought and talk about whether or not it’s profitable to mine Bitcoin with.
So, I went ahead and ordered the Antminer S9 SE from a Chinese manufacturer. It’s a 16 TH/s miner, which is pretty decent for mining Bitcoin. It comes with a power supply and a controller board, which makes it easy to set up and get mining.
Now, when it comes to profitability, it really depends on your electricity costs, as well as the current Bitcoin price and network difficulty. Generally speaking, it’s not that profitable to mine Bitcoin compared to other cryptocurrencies. However, if you’re able to get a really good deal on electricity, then it could be profitable.
In conclusion, mining Bitcoin with the Antminer S9 SE is not going to be super profitable, but if you can get a good deal on electricity then it might be worth it. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next video.
